12. King Cobra

Here’s the good news about the king cobra. They’re not really cobras. Here’s the other good news, they prefer not to tangle with humans. Here’s the bad news: if they do attack, the venom in their bite can be fatal. By tangle we mean someone would have to provoke or trap a king cobra as they prefer to flee. King cobras can make multiple strikes in one attack, even hang on to their victim in some cases. The toxins can cause symptoms like blurred vision, drowsiness, and even paralysis or coma. Death can occur within 30 minutes.
