So how about this for a “sign-on bonus”, Steve Jobs apparently was given a Gulfstream Jet when he became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Apple. It was one of their smaller models, but a Gulfstream none the less. It’s not as if Jobs couldn’t afford to have one himself, but if your company is going to give you a private jet, you take it.

 

Shortly after Jobs, unfortunately, passed away the Jet was given to his wife Laurine Powell and she later turned around and sold it to another Apple executive. So hey, at least it stayed in the family right? Value on a Gulfstream is usually up into the $30-60 million range, but it’s possible the company jet was a smaller model
