1949 125 S: The First Ferrari

Interestingly when Enzo first created the Scuderia Ferrari team he had no intentions of ever building road cars. At the time the team was working under the Alfa Romeo brand and continued to do so until 1939 when Enzo decided to branch out. When he left he apparently signed an agreement saying that he wouldn’t use the name Ferrari with any race cars for at least four years.
