Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz served as the King of Saudi Arabia from 2005 until his death in 2015. He was one of the many sons of Ibn Saud, who is considered to be the founder of modern day Saudi Arabia. Abdulaziz also served as the Mayor of Mecca which was his first stint in public office. With an estimated net worth of $21 billion due to the massive oil reserves he has access to and coming from a Royal family, he’s one of the wealthiest and most powerful men of his time.
