You may not have expected to see a big six wheeled monster on this list, but when its made by Mercedes Benz and has a ridiculous price tag said to be over $700,000 how can it not be. Based off the G wagon that is actually known to be very capable when it comes to off road use, even though only a very small fraction of G wagon owners actually take them off-road. Powering this beast is a 5.5L twin turbo V8 that’s been tuned by Mercedes in house performance division, AMG, to produce 536 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque. This thing is equipped with just about anything you could think off, there’s an on board air compressor that can inflate all six 37 inch tires in just 20 seconds. So if you can tell me that you wouldn’t look like you were balling out of control if you rolled up to your buddies house in this thing, well I just might call you a liar, or at the bare minimum absolutely crazy.

Most people will immediately recognize this car because it currently holds the title of fastest production car in the world as both coupe and convertible. At 270.4mph the Hennessy Venom GT built by speed shop in Texas took the world by storm back in 2011. It features a twin turbo 7.0L LSX Chevrolet motor that produces 1,244 hp and 1,155 lb-ft of torque. To five you an idea of just how fast this car is it will go from 0-100mph in just 4.4 seconds. That is easily faster than most cars you see every day on the road will 60mph from a stand still. At 100mph the GT is just getting warmed up, it continues with that same ferocious acceleration until the driver is forced to hit the brakes. Even though the GT used the Kennedy Space Station runway to brake the record that is over 3 miles long when your going 270mph you eat that up quick. There will only be around 20 examples made of this beast and each one will cost you just under $2 million. It may not be the most practical car, but when you have a 1,200 hp twin turbo V8 siting behind you does it really matter?

The Ferrari F12 TDF is a special edition of the F12 that is more hard core and tuned for the track. Being that the F12 is the most powerful front engine Ferrari produces you know this going to be good. Using a good old naturally aspirated 6.3L V12 the magicians at Ferrari managed to produce 39 more horsepower than stock bringing it up to a grand total of 769 hp. So we are talking almost on the level of the Aston Martin Vulcan here. The TDF stands for Tour de France which was a n endurance auto race that started back in 1899 and continued until 1986. This car was built to pay homage to the Ferrari’s that dominated the race back in the ’50s and ’60s. They did a great job too because not only does the car look much more aggressive, it is fast. Apparently it was able to lap the Ferrari test track on the same pace as the companies top of the line model, the LaFerrari, finishing only 1.3 seconds behind. Even with a price tag just over $400,000 its a bargain on this list, but it will only be built in limited numbers so if you want one you better jump on it.

Lamborghini Veneno

This is one of the most rare and expensive Lamborghini’s ever made. They call it the Veneno and only five were made, each selling for around $4.5 million. It features the same V12 found in the Aventador SV only with an additional 10 hp bringing it up to 750 in total. It has a very unusual and aggressive look to as you might have noticed. Its definitely not something you will see every day that’s for sure. IT was built to celebrate the companies 50th anniversary and even though they cost a fortune, all examples were immediately scooped up. The performance aspect of the car is going to similar to the Aventador, maybe a bit quicker in some aspects but only just. Oddly the performance is not really the star of the show here as it is with most other cars. Its the fact that it it looks sharp enough in some places that it could literally cut you. As much as I might not agree with it, this is the kind of car that doesn’t get driven all that often, maybe the occasional track day. The rest of the time most people feel as if its beautiful enough to sit on display in your living room as a conversation starter.

The La Finale marked the end of production for the Bugatti Veyron and was said to be the last one made. When the Bugatti hit the scene with its W16 engine that was essentially two VW V8 engines fused together it took the world by storm. Thanks to a total of four turbochargers the power output was 1000hp but Bugatti didn’t stop there. They made the Super Sport that increased the horsepower to a ridiculous 1200 hp and this was the car that held the title of worlds fastest car with almost 268mph. Then came the Vitesse which was basically a convertible version of the SS and that is where they stayed foe the remainder of the production. They would release a few special editions here and there so its fitting to end production with one. There is so much detail and craftsmanship in this car its minds blowing. But with a price around $3.3 million that should be expected.

The Lykan Hypersport was made famous in the movie Fast 7 when it was magically jumped from one building to the next in Dubai. Its one of the most expensive supercars in the world at a staggering $3.5 million. Built by W motors, a UAE based company it features a 3.7L flax six engine that was tuned by famous Porsche tuners RUF, to churn out a total of 750 hp. They claim this car will hit 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and and hit a top speed of 240 mph, but that has yet to be proven. There is quite a bit of “extravagance” in this car to say the least. To give you an idea as to why the cost is so high, and what I mean by extravagance, it features diamond encrusted LED headlights, a virtual holographic display for the instrument panel, and gold stitched leather just to name a few. So whether this is an actual super car with extreme levels of performance, or a great looking car with a bunch of fancy bits. The jury is still out on that one. One thing is certain, thanks to its star role in Fast 7 everyone will know this is is one of the most expensive supercars so at least you’ll have that going for you.
