Like I said before, nobody really knows the exact amount of money that Escobar had. But the best guess that historians of the event have been able to come with is somewhere in excess of $30 billion. But then again, other reports indicate it was significantly more than that. I guess we will never know at this point.

Escobar was even featured in the Forbes Magazine as one of the World’s Wealthiest People for seven straight years. It seems bizarre to have one of most notorious criminal minds in the world listed in such a reputable magazine. But I guess as far as Forbes is concerned, money is money no matter how it’s acquired.
