20. The Design is Incredible
When the castle was completed in July 1971, it stood 189 feet tall measured from the concrete bottom of the water-filled moat. The moat is filled with approximately 3.37 million US gallons of water. The castle itself is 100 feet taller than the Sleeping Beauty Castle in California.
21. The Flags Are Secret Transmitters
The Magic Kingdom is known for their beautiful parades and spectacular nightly shows, but how do they control all of it? Well, there’s a high-tech transmitter built into the flag sitting on top of one of the Castle’s towers. It coordinates the floats that sail through Main Street toward the front of the castle.
