Hoss was played by Dan Blocker, and he was one of the all-time favorites on the show. As this list goes on, you’ll learn quite a bit about Blocker and his interesting childhood. He was born in a small town in Texas called O’Donnell and the people there are so proud of him that they built a small museum dedicated strictly to him and his career.
